Quaint older style cosy guestroom.
Clean room and good quality linen and towels. Continental breakfast was plentiful. Very helpful and friendly staff.

THe staff was very welcoming and the beds were comfortable and clean. it was good to have toiletries provided. Not enough plugs for a family room in an era when recharging mobiles, kindle, etc is expected.
Considering they knew I was in the area for a heart operation I would have expected a room not on the top floor.
The shower was quite rickety with a door that did not shut properly and it was so noisy a jet harrier would have been quieter. The water was cold initially and we had to go to the ground floor to call the manager (see above note) who had to reset the system I am usually a solo traveller so this would have meant getting dressed again and some inconvenience.
