The location downtown allowed you to walk if you needed to. Clean rooms and friendly service. Ice and laundry available if needed. The price was right for a solo traveler.
The overall experience was positive as I was only staying one night. Some neighbors decided that fighting with each other was fair game at midnight. The amenities were good, and you can tell workers use the place because it is fair, cheap, and clean. Downtown was very quiet and picturesque.

The motel manager, Mike, is a very welcoming and conscientious person. He showed me several rooms until I found one that I liked. I enjoyed talking with him. I will consider returning to the motel for future trips to Hannibal.
This is pretty much unavoidable, but because of the budget price of the rooms it attracts some customers who are a bit ill mannered. One of them knocked on my door at 10:30 at night wanting to know if I knew how to get in touch with the lady who makes up the rooms. LOL! Yeah. If I had one complaint about my room is that the bed could use an additonal blanket, or there could be one available in the room to use. It got a bit chilly even with the heat turned on. A blanket would've been helpful.

Nice older motel, comfortable beds, close to old downtown, very nice gentleman checks you in and checks to see if everything is good to go. Love these older motels where you can back up to your door and unload.
