I like the quiet environment. Breakfast items were great! There are washers and dryers at the hotel and you can check the room TV screen to determine which washer and dryer are available. There are two microwaves available in the eating area near the lobby (breakfast area). The hotel is within 1-2 minute walking distance from the train station, Imbanihon-Idai station (not a JR line). The same station has the Narita Express train that goes to Terminal 2-3 and 1 (yes, you can use the JR pass).
It's a nice quiet area that you can walk around and enjoy the tranquility. However, some people might find it too quiet. The only mart that sells food is the one at the train station.

Far from stores, on the info, it says a few minutes away from the station but actually is quite far from the station, especially with luggage. Even though you can see the hotel but you would need to walk a big round to get there because there are other facilities in between.
I picked the hotel because it is close to the airport. However, when summarizing the time and cost, staying at the airport will be way better if you include the transport time and fare. If you are staying at the airport hotel, you could take the rapid train which just takes roughly 40 mins from Nippori then 1.5 hours of train traveling with transits. Also, the next morning you will need to wake up early (around 5) to get the first train.
The overall cost to stay in the airport will be more expensive but it saves a lot of time than staying at Inba if you are planning to go to the airport. I choose time over cost.
