You can rent a fishing boat or go whale watching close by. You are within blocks of the Bay shops and restaurants. In addition, Buena Ventura Golf Club is just minutes up the road. Don't miss the massive farmers market on the weekend too! This will become your favorite getaway gem! Silver Strand is the last hidden gem of a California beach. Nestled between Malibu and Santa Barbara, it has that super-local feel. You can watch sailboats and little electric boats traverse the harbor from the Boardwalk. Across the way, rent a jet ski or paddle board, or go deep-sea fishing. The whale-watching tour happens between December and May. It will become your favorite place to get away from the daily grind of life! With three restaurants and a convenience store located on the north side of the beach, walking, biking, and skating is the way to travel on Silver strand. If guests wish to travel to downtown Oxnard or up to Ventura, Uber and Lyft are plentiful. Please read your digital house manual prior - it has all your check-in information. There is one security camera on the roof looking at the driveway and the entrance to the gated patio. It is to protect the property and our guests safety.
