This is a nice, comfortable property in the heart of Bermeo, overlooking the harbour, and with wonderful views of the sea. Bermeo is a fascinating town, with lots of tapas bars where you can sit and watch the world go by. It is very lively, as we discovered since our stay coincided with their major festival. This made for very noisy evenings, but it also meant that we had a ringside seat for a spectacular firework display.
The communication regarding entry to the property was poor. Our host presumed that we were literate in the use of WhatsApp. Bermeo is a rabbit warren of a town and hard to navigate. Access to the property is virtually impossible, especially during festival week. We ended up having to ferry our belongings to the property from our car, parked over half a mile away. This required two trips, not good for a 78 year old! The apartment is insufficiently equipped: no kettle for boiling water, no bowls, no toaster/grill. We received no instruction on the use of the appliances. And what would it have cost to provide a welcoming provision of some milk, coffee, bread etc.? This creates a good impression from the start. Our host , it must be said, came and ferried our belongings to our car on the day of departure.

La ubicación y las vistas. El apartamento estaba limpio y tenía lo necesario. La persona que nos atendió (no en persona) fue muy atenta y nos informó perfectamente. Nosotros, afortunadamente, no tuvimos ningún problema con los vecinos.
Avisar que la calle para acceder son unas escaleras pero no supusieron un problema .
