🌊 Lakefront Cottage Getaway — Less Than 2 Hours from Toronto
Escape to a private lakefront retreat on beautiful Upper Buckhorn Lake, less than two hours from Toronto. With stunning lake views, spacious indoor and outdoor gathering areas, and plenty of activities on and off the water, the cottage is perfect for families, groups of friends, or two families vacationing together.
🌅 Sunset Views & Outdoor Living
Take in beautiful northwest-facing lake views and sunsets from two spacious decks overlooking the water. The shoreline offers gentle walk-in water access, while the waterfront area is perfect for relaxing on the hammock swing, gathering around the firepit, or spending the afternoon out on the lake.
🛶 Fun on the Water
A variety of complimentary water activities are available for guests, including:
• Two kayaks
• Stand-up paddleboard
• Canoe
• Pedal boat
• Large floating water mat
• Life jackets in a variety of sizes
Guests planning to fish should bring their own fishing equipment, and water shoes are recommended.
🛏️ Sleeps Up to 10 Guests
The cottage features three bedrooms:
• Queen bedroom
• Double bedroom
• Single-over-double bunk bed
Additional sleeping space is available on two pullout couches and a blow-up mattress.
Guests have access to two indoor bathrooms, as well as a newly installed outdoor shower overlooking the lake (only available during warm months).

The open-concept kitchen and living area provide plenty of space to cook, dine, and spend time together.
Downstairs, the rec room is packed with entertainment, including:
• Pool table
• Ping-pong
• Darts
• Karaoke
• Smart TVs
For quieter downtime, relax in the sunroom, browse the mini-library, or enjoy a selection of board games.

The cottage is just five minutes from the town of Buckhorn, where you'll find a grocery store, LCBO, restaurants, and other essentials.

Jacob our host was wonderful to communicate with. The "vibe" in regard to our booking experience and stay was one of rustic relaxation....a true cottage in a beautiful location! We appreciated that everything was clean, fresh and warm upon our winter arrival. The kitchen was so well equipped that the kids and I were able to bake after playing in the snow. There was no shortage of tissues or toilet paper and anything we needed like soaps, dishwasher tabs or tinfoil was available. The linen closet had plentiful towels, blankets and even extra pillows. I would caution families with mobility issues or young members that there are MANY steep stairs to navigate on the property but the views from the different levels are lovely.My only regret is that I wasn't able to spend time and explore in the warmer weather. I believe the sunroom would have been my favorite space...its like an oasis from the rest of the house. It's bright, airy and perfect for enjoying a coffee and a good book.I would highly recommend this property to those searching for a traditional cottage getaway with great views in a community setting.

Our stay was amazing from beginning to end. Property was clean and well organized. Everything was readily and easily accessible. Overall we had a wonderful experience. Jacob was an amazing host.
