My room had views of Namsan and Han river, that was nice. Room was also quite spacious. Location is very convenient as there are two metro stations within walking distance (Yongsan or Shin-Yongsan). It is also walkable to the Han River from the hotel - nice if you want to squeeze a run at the Han River.
The aircon fan switches on and off throughout the night, not sure if it is supposed to be this way but it gets stuffy once the fan is off. You have to lower down the temperature to get the fan to work and it repeats itself.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed during my trip to Asia. The value is absolutely insane. The view is amazing, the location is very good and the rooms are super comfortable
If anything, the elevators takes forever

Breakfast was pretty good but pricey. Room was very spacious. Staff were nice. Decent location within walking distance of a bus shuttle. Didn't know it was a military hotel which was cool, even has a small space dedicated to the history of the s.korean army.
Just nothing really special about the area. Wouldn't really recommend as a tourist. For the price your better off finding something more, fun.

Close to yongsan train station
The lifts. 3 lifts for 30 floors. Very poor planning. Wait times for the lift is minimum 5 minutes
