About this house rental

Situated in New Buffalo, this attractive house for $261 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This adorable "cottage" has 4BRs/2BAs and is in a private neighborhood w/ its own pool. Near downtown restaurants, shops + beach. A fully equipped kitchen has lots of space and there's a stone fireplace. The main floor Master BR has a King bed w/ full ensuite bath. Upstairs is a lounge area w/ Xbox and 3 BRs including a King bed, a Queen bed and one w/ 2 twins. Upper-level rooms share a full bath. There's a screened porch and a back porch overlooks the shared green space, pond and pool. THE SPACE Kiddos having fun while parents relax on the porch? Yes Please! Schoolhouse Rock is perfectly appointed for family getaways. An open social living area includes a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of space to relax overlooking the pond. A cozy rock fireplace warms and relaxes during fall and winter stays. The primary suite is conveniently located on the main floor and offers a king bed and full ensuite bath. Upstairs is a lounge area with Xbox game console and two couches for kids (and kids at heart) to play. Three bedrooms include a king bed, a queen bed, and a room with two twins. These upper-level rooms share a full bath with tub/shower combo that’s perfect for bathing kiddos after a fun day of play. Step out to the screen porch for bug-free al fresco dining or relax on the wide back porch that overlooks the community green space, pond, and association pool. A gas grill, grill tools and a portable fire pit are ready for great outdoor entertaining! Other association amenities include a walking path around the pond, sport court and playground. And within walking distance to the Amtrack Station for a quick commute to Chicago! OTHER THINGS TO NOTE Per HOA rules there is a minimum 7-day rental for this home Memorial Day - Labor Day. From June 1 - August 24, 2024 this home has a 7-day minimum with check ins/outs on Saturdays only. The minimum age to rent this home is 25. A maximum of 3 cars can park at this property. The Community Pool opens Memorial Day weekend and stays open through October 1st. To abide by all legal requirements and property security rules, you may be asked to participate in a guest prescreening. All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing a vacation travel insurance policy if you suspect that you will need to cancel your vacation. For guests that would like to bring pets we agree that pets are part of the family, and we welcome a maximum of one (1) dog under 50 lbs here. All pets must be authorized at time of booking - email us immediately for pet approval if you plan to bring your dog. Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.

This location is close to the main area and the neighborhood was nice. The house was very clean and communication with the owner was great. While we stayed over a winter weekend it is a perfect place to stay in the summer months.

We really enjoyed this property. Great location and friendly neighbors in the housing association. The beds were unbelievably cozy. There are a few minor fixes that are needed, but nothing that would stop us from renting this property again.
