Location! Can't beat the beach front views. The guest house was large and contained all the necessities to cook and hang out at the house. The receptionists were very accomodating and assisted us with our luggage, espeically because there's a long flight of stairs to get from the parking lot/drop off spot to the reception desk/guest houses. If you are unable to use stairs or have difficulty using stairs, note that this location requires you to walk down a flight of stairs and walk back up to the parking lot/drop-off area.
WiFi connection was weak, pretty much only accessible if you are outside (ironically haha). But honestly, it was a nice time to unplug. The view was beautiful, so hanging out at the patio to get internet connection was actually pretty lovely. One of our bedrooms had some sort of wood-eating insect on the roof, causing a pile of sawdust to fall onto the bed. We informed the staff and they changed the bedsheets and appeared to have fixed the hole on the ceiling. However, a few days later, the sawdust piled up again, indicating a wood-eating insect was still present in the roof... I understand that the Philippines is a tropical climate and bugs and insects are common, but it was a little frustrating to have saw-dust pile up on the bed for 2 nights, affecting how my friend slept.

- was not the cleanest and everything open ( everything wood-build, it’d nice but also a welcome for insects)
- you need a car or scooter to get there or going around ( everything is far away)

The landscape was nice and the Sea was basically right outside our door. The staff was friendly and kind. Fairly quiet to wake up to which was a nice change. Overall, after an extremely long day of traveling and ferry delays, we were grateful to have the last minute accommodation availability during Holy Week.
It is a significant distance away from virtually anything. Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews about the stairs. There were many very steep cement stairs down to the accommodation. We only needed one night as we arrived a day early in Siquijor and there was no room available at our originally booked hotel. It took about 40 minutes to get to there from the ferry port. We had suitcases which are definitely not a fit for this accommodation. The shower spray was very minimal and we didn't open our suitcases because of the ants inside the cottage. Its definitely on the rustic side and would be a good fit for backpackers with minimal luggage provided they could hang up their stuff.
No laundry allowed in bedroom, but I'm not sure why. I used an all natural bug repellent along the doorway to bedroom to deter the ants from joining or sleep. It worked well. Its made from lemon and eucalyptus.
