Everything was great - such a cosy place to stay and very central and walkable to the shops. Everything was just a walk down the street!
The wifi was a little glitchy, which wasn’t the best since it was needed for work, but managed ok! Only slight flaw in an otherwise perfect stay.

Bien localisé (épicerie en face, à distance de marche du centre-ville de Picton avec pleins de restos et boutiques), très propre et bien entretenue. Lits et literie confortable. Cuisine petite mais très bien équipée avec tout le nécessaire. La cours et le bbq est vraiment un beau plus (ma fille a beaucoup appréciée la balançoire!). Plusieurs jeux/jouets pour les enfants. Très pratique d’avoir une laveuse/sécheuse. On apprécie que la passe pour la plage de sandbanks soit incluse (une économie de 20$ par jour ! N’oubliez pas de réserver quand même votre droit d’accès 5 jours à l’avance). Hôtes facilement accessibles par message.
L’accès au stationnement: il y a une hauteur maximale pour franchir la porte qui mêne au stationnement, et la voiture entrait de justesse. On a dû retirer le coffre de toit (voir photo)
La vitesse du wifi: 10 mégabits donc un peu lent pour écouter un film
À noter qu’il n’y a pas de salle de bain à l’étage (pas un enjeu pour nous!)

It’s tastefully decorated, cozy, and gives off a chalet vibe. It’s in a great location where we could park the car and walk everywhere around town. The garden with the swing was lovely for our family. Our child loved the reading nook! Thanks for the seasonal park pass to Sandbanks, it was a bonus even though we only used it once. It just felt like the owners really cared about making the place welcoming and homey for their guests. Everything we needed was there to use or to borrow and then replaced.
The parking situation. We didn’t have a big car and it felt like a squeeze and just uncomfortable to maneuver. It’s still better than having no parking for this accommodation. Also, the one bathroom on the main floor became inconvenient for washroom trips when sleeping. Oh and the only stainless steel frying pan. We only cooked breakfast there, but the pan was hard work to use and to clean.
