The property was charming and well maintained. There was a slight mildewy odor upon entering. Communication about departure was poor. Our overall experience was pleasant and comfortable.

The property is on a nice area and has beautiful views from the front and back, but was near train tracks and off of a main road so at times you could hear the train and vehicles at night. Overall it was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The problem was that I was wheezing and smelled mildew everywhere. I never could find the source of it, though it was likely the basement? As soon as we got home we had to disinfect our luggage and wash all our clothes because everything smelled so strongly of mildew or mold. Since we weren't staying long at the property I thought I could deal with it and my husband didn't seem to think it was that strong, but my air cleaner at home registered high for formaldehyde when I put our clothes next to it before being washed. Perhaps I'm just sensitive, but if you are as well than just know that going into it.
