Great sport to explore the island

We had a lovely time in the apartment - There's everything you need: fully equipped kitchen, great view from the balcony and close to the center. Victor was very helpful when planning our explorations of the island, giving us great advice on weather conditions and what to do when.

A great place to base yourself to explore Faial - Accommodation and Host are great value!

The accomodation was in a great location and in easy walking distance for Horta. The accommodation was modern, clean and had an exception outdoor space with amazing views of Pico! The most valued and appreciated element was Victor, the host, who provided us with invaluable local knowledge on where to go, how to get there, what to eat and what not to miss!

There was nothing not to like - The Azores are great and so was the accommodation!

Feeling home at Horta

The house had absolutely everything we needed for our stay, including for cooking. The view was astonishing (when the sky around Pico was clear). The terrace is perfect to stay and enjoy the meals.

Some furniture needs to be updated/restored. Opening and closing the windows and shutters was not easy. Traffic noise (works at Horta's main street caused increased traffic in the nearby streets) was quite audible even with the windows closed. The city center is not too far (around 15 mins walking) but returning home is uphill all the way, so renting a car is highly recommend during your whole stay, since there are no shops, groceries, restaurants or anything nearby.
