They have quite a few very similar room types and although apparently not a deliberate “trick” my room was downgraded on arrival even though I had paid extra for the better room. When I queried this I was given a shrug of the shoulders (We don’t speak English etc) type of response and had to pay the extra cost for the inferior room....
So my advice is very much to take a screenshot of the room and it’s facilities when you book on the site and insist you get what you have paid for on arrival.
As an aside... the “town” is not a resort place at all. If you want to have a drink in a bar or eat a meal or see another human being ! after sunset (6pm -ish)...you will need to take a taxi (100 pesos minimum each way) to Zipolite a few miles up the coast.
