Shopping, restaurants, Tregent Park and the water wheel on Fall River are all within a block. Listen to live music at Performance Park just a five minute trip up the river walk.

This home was built in 1914 around the time of the founding of Rocky Mountain National Park, and has been carefully maintained and upgraded over the years. Stone`s Throw is near a shuttle stop for the free summertime trolley around town, and the buses into Rocky Mountain National Park. Walk downtown and get all your shopping done. Don’t forget to buy some fresh water Taffy too! The driveway has parking for three medium-sized cars plus a city parking lot. Climate control includes the rare amenity of air conditioning for occasional hot summer days in Estes. 4 bedrooms (3 queen bedrooms, 1 king bedroom), 3 baths (2 with showers, 1 with a tub). This property is in the perfect location. You just walk across the low traffic street and you are on the main "tourist" road that runs through the main part of town. Restaurants and stores are all way walking distance (like a 5 minute or less walk) and the bridge/park you have to walk through when crossing the street is beautiful and has a water wheel perfect for the background of pictures. The house was great and kept us warm during the cold days and cool during the hot days. We rented both upstairs and downstairs so had two kitchens and it worked great since we had both my wife and I and my daughter and her family. There is an awesome jacuzzi tub that is so deep that it actually does more than just cover your legs like in regular tubs. Check in was super easy and check out was easier than other VRBOs we stayed at. I'm so glad we stayed here rather than the other choices because of the location. Location is awesome. Kids could easily walk across the street and we rarely had to drive because of it unlike other relatives who were in town at same time. Also during snow we had no troubles unlike other relatives who stayed at other places who ran into problems. Would definitely stay here again, mainly because of location— you change beat it. There is no other place we could find with a better one.

Kitchen well stocked with dishes, silverware, cooking utensils,Nice tables and chairs in kitchen and dining room.Living room furniture comfortable. Heaters worked well and we’re quiet except loud if upstairs heater was on and someone sleeping downstairs. We just kept heating off overnight. Bathrooms are great, wall fireplaces cozy.Location is great close to downtown but quiet!

The heat was not working, which we learned when we returned from dinner the first night. The manager was responsive and sent someone over to fix it. The bathrooms were not particularly clean - drips on walls and doors, dirt build up on the trim. Shower tile had some discoloration in the corners from orange mold. It is quite old and smells a bit musty. It is a very average rental. The location is great.
