Great location, stylish spacious apartment with lift- air conditioning was most welcome- huge stylish en suite bathroom. Located in the limited traffic zone so have to park a little away- some information from the property on best options would be helpful- we parked at via Guglielmo oberdan which was very reasonable approx 17 euros for 2 days and over night- but 1/2 mile from apartment- there was parking at the end of the road of the hotel but not clear whether this could be used for long stay and was more expensive. The property is now managed by a property company.
There was no facility to drop bags when we arrived in Ravenna but the parking did seem relatively secure. The listing included a washing machine when we booked but there was none available. We had deliberately looked for somewhere with this facility because a couple of weeks into our trip needed to refresh things. Cooking was not allowed in the apartment.

Location was amazing and the apartment felt very safe and secure. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The entire apartment was uniquely decorated with personal art work, photos, beautiful crystal chandeliers, antiques and vibrantly bold wall papers.
It was difficult to find and we’d let the host know in advance that we were coming in early and needed to stow our bags. Nobody was there to greet us and we needed to wait for someone to arrive. It was extremely inconvenient to our planned schedule of activities. There are shared areas including a kitchen where I expected to find cups, bowls and plates. There weren’t any at all. For example, there was tea available but nothing to make it in. The overall feeling of the apartment was very homey so having those small details attended to was a missed opportunity for the host. There’s also so many personal items in cabinets and drawers that it felt like we were intruding on someone’s personal space, which was odd. The worst part about our stay was the noise from the apartment above us. We were kept awake until midnight with what sounded like a game of basketball. There wasn’t anything the host could control about that but it’s something to know for those booking in the future.

Comfortable stay in a beautiful apartment which we unexpectedly had to ourselves. Great location near to the train station and historic centre of Ravenna.
Initial confusion as to who was managing the property. During our stay it was not by the owner but an agency who supplied a different contact phone number from the one given by booking.com

This was genuinely one of the most beautiful rooms I've stayed in and the location was fantastic
I received the instructions to check in in January when I booked, and they weren't resent around the time of booking, which would have been fine had I not received an insane amount of quote long messages following on from booking with all sorts of things. Two of them I could tell were automated as they said 'we hope you enjoyed your stay' before we'd even checked in and one about that we hope your stay is going well or something again before check in which made me panic I'd actually missed the booking or arranged it for the wrong day. On top of that, super frequent messages about what time we were checking in was quite intense, and I understand it was so that they could let us in but I didn't know the time we would expect to get there until the day of which meant the messages continuing until I was able to give an accurate time
While the room was truly stunning, the lack of light was quite difficult in that there is no overhead light at all and we weren't able to open the shutters whatsoever, I assume to keep the room cool. So the only light in the bedroom is from a lot of lamps, which are nice and provide ambiance, but things like packing up your suitcase and making sure you've not forgotten anything are actually quite hard to do if you're only lit by lamps
