Located in Lake Gaston, this attractive house for $225 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Our home sits on 1 acre of waterfront property with deep water. It's an amazing place to be with family and friends and we hope that you enjoy it as much as we do. Our brother helps maintain and manage the property and lives in an in-law suite off one end of the home. The in-law has a separate entry and living spaces and the door between the 2 units is locked. You have private and full access to both levels of the rest of the home which is 2000 square feet, and all outdoor areas. On the main level, There is a open concept living room/dining room/kitchen as you walk into the home. The kitchen is fully stocked, and you will find everything you need to keep the family fed. You won't run out of silverware, glasses or lack that perfect food prep tool! The dining area opens into the large sun room which has amazing views overlooking the cove and back yard. The sunroom has 2 couches, an arm chair, and a small breakfast nook to enjoy beautiful sunrises with coffee and sunsets after dinner. Lastly, there is a bedroom with a king size bed and full bathroom on this floor. On the lower level, The stairs from upstairs enter into the den where there is a game table, darts, indoor basketball and large flat screen TV. There is a nook under the stairs with several boardgames. Two captains beds are also located in this room. There is a gas fireplace in this room as well, but it is turned off for the summer season. The den opens into the downstairs entryway which goes out to the patio underneath the sunroom. There is ample seating for enjoying morning coffee and evening drinks. There is also a hammok for taking naps in the shade during the heat of the summer. There is a full bath w/shower, and a bedroom with a queen bed and a twin bunk bed on the lower level as well. Our home comes complete with bed linens (beds are made for you) as well as bathing and kitchen towels. Our neighborhood is large, quiet and safe with numerous paved roads so bring your bikes and feel free to tour around. You will also find a neighborhood park and pavilion at the entrance of our neighborhood with a playground for the kids to enjoy. Outdoors Living your best life... There is an outdoor kitchen with 2 gas grills, a charcoal grill, a gas smoker, a mini fridge, and a huge deck with 2 large outdoor tables in the shade. This is where you can grill out for lunch or smoke ribs, brisket, salmon, or a pork shoulder all day for dinner. The outdoor kitchen is lighted and has a ceiling fan. There are outdoor muti-color led lights for enjoying the space into the evening. Memories are made at the lake. We are located on a large cove on Lizard Creek just minutes from main lake. Boat traffic is limited in the cove and you can feel safe having your family splash in the lake. The dock has a 12ft. expandable awning to relax in the shade or ample space to sunbathe in the sun. There are 6 lounge chairs with cushions, a large water mat for the family to play on, and several floats to lounge in the lake. There are also 4 kayaks available for use, (3-1 person, 1-2 person). The depth of the water goes from 2ft at the shore to ~10-12ft at the end of the dock. We do not currently include access to the boat lift with the rental. There is also a single Jetski lift that is available for use. Boats may be tied and boarded from the boat dock adjacent to the boat lift. There is a boat ramp in the neighborhood community that is available for use on N. Oak Drive. We are halfway between Eaton ferry There are 2 marinas to get gas, if needed, within a 20 minute boat ride. There is plenty of parking space available for several cars and a boat trailer. Activities: Indoor-boardgames, darts, indoor basketball, tv, and wifi, relaxing in the sun room Outdoor-basketball, bocce, cornhole Community: There is a playground and a community pool available for use. Also, there are 2 boat launches available for use. Nearby: Within a 5-10 minute drive, there is access to a Food Lion shopping center, several restaurants, 2 places to rent boats and jetskis, an ice cream shop, and a putt putt course.

Great location. Great property. Comfortable and everything we needed. Trip was cut short due to my husband taking a spill but otherwise the perfect stay!! Thanks Seth for working with us and allowing us to stay at your lovely lake home. We'll be back as soon we can!!

We have such a great time choosing to stay at this home. I had forgotten how relaxing the lake environment can be. The house has plenty of room for our family of five, we didn’t even need to use one of the bedrooms. We rode out on the lake nearly every day using the provided kayaks and had some pretty heating competition using the basketball goal downstairs. Overall we had an excellent lake vacation and would love to go back soon. On a side note, I throughly enjoyed the sunroom and spent a good deal of time enjoying the view of the lake.

This is a beautiful house and location on a lake with lots of fun activities available to us and our teenage granddaughter. The house is very comfortable and very well appointed, and the host was very helpful and responsive. We would love to visit again, and highly recommend it.

The location is great , clean lake and we also enjoyed the kayaks that were provided. The house was stocked with absolutely everything that you might need as well as clean. The sunroom is very relaxing , perfect spot for morning coffee and a glass of wine while watching the sunset. The outdoor kitchen while impressive can be intimidating so maybe some instructions on how to use it would help. If I were to mention something that needs improvement is the outdoor patio that need some cleaning ( lots of spider nets from the celling to the walls to the furniture) and better arrangement of the furniture for an inviting and comfortable space.

The rental home has a great location on a quiet creek. The view from the home of the lake was really nice and we enjoyed spending time in the sunroom. We spent our days swimming and floating off the dock. There was plenty of room for us to tie up our pontoon boat. We appreciated access to the kayaks and enjoyed paddling around the creek. It was helpful to have a fridge at the dock that we could also use. The outdoor kitchen was impressive. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked and provided extras that made preparing meals easy. The basement was laid out nicely and offered a space to hang out. The beds were all very comfortable and we appreciated the linen package that was offered. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.
