The large sheltered balcony is a window into the world of Madalena, great place to have your meals, prepared in the superbly equipped kitchen. There are facilities for washing & drying your clothes, & they dry rapidly. It is a genuine old fisherman’s cottage which retains its ambience, but with modern amenities.
There is a dehumidifier, but the Azores can be quite humid indoors.

De locatie is fantastisch, er zit een terras bij en het appartement is voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt
De bar/ eetcafé ernaast gaf een aantal keren een feest dat tot na drie uur ‘s nachts duurde. Behoorlijke geluidsoverlast

The location is great and the apartment was clean. Everything there you need. Easy walk from the ferry terminal. Nice outdoor space but found it smelled of seaweed though there is nothing the owner can do about it. A cafe bar attached and went there once for lunch.
