This is a place you book once in a lifetime. The owners are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. They provide you with everything you need, whether you want to try local food or some fresh fruit, an idea on what to visit for the next day or even if you are a bit sick. They are cleaning the apartment every day, they refill the fridge and cook the best breakfast. But most importantly, you feel how warm their heart is when doing it. They feel like your family and you will most certainly want to come back here. We came to Sao Miguel for its waterfalls, lakes and hydrangeas, but we found wonderful people: Joao and his family

Joao was an amazing host, very friendly and helpful. Everything was just as we needed after a late arrival. The cooked breakfast was excellent too and served early due to an early flight out the next day. Highly recommended.
