This was an unexpected Gem. We originally planned to stay in a Hampton Inn 15 minutes north, but found out about this and moved our reservation. You get so much more for your money in this beautiful building with amazing rooms.
The Thatcher next door has an amazing lobby/library, too.
This is way more hotel than you would expect for what is basically an intersection :-)
The restaurant closed at 7pm on a Sunday. But we were done with dinner and pretty much the only guest left, so we retreated to our room which was big enough for 5 people. (There are restaurants next door that are open if you are late, but double check.)

Rooms are very, very nice. Lots of space for 2. Property was pretty.
For 200 a night I would have not expected stain rugs and towels. Really only complaint. Rooms were clean, but stains here and there and many spots on carpeting was disappointing.

The room was beautiful and comfortable and the bathroom was opulent. The service at checkin and dinner was fantastic. Overall, a beautiful stay.
The jets in the tub did not work. The TV was absolutely impossible, and was never enjoyed. Most of the window coverings were broken. The door handle to the patio was broken. Just not what was expected from the photo's portrayed and the price.
