The Space: Sleeping 10, this house is perfect for any group or family! The recent renovations converted the downstairs basement from an independent living unit to part of the overall house. As a result, it may seem unusual for there to be two kitchens and two sets of washer dryers in this house. But you deserve luxury so why not two kitchens and two sets of W/Ds? Treat yourself and your family :) - Complimentary Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+, where available. Bed Configuration: Bedroom 1: 1 double bed Bedroom 2: 2 queen beds Bedroom 3: 2 single beds Living/Common Area: 1 sofabed Stairs may be required; wheelchair not accessible. Guest Access: Guests have access to the entire space. The Neighborhood: Nestled along Highway 1 near the Potomac River, Potomac West is a bustling neighborhood with unbeatable access to historic Downtown Alexandria. Potomac West’s residential streets are lined with upscale, longstanding homes and luxury apartments available for rent. Because of the neighborhood’s central location, rent tends to be at a higher price point, but there are affordable housing options in the area as well. Potomac Yard Center sits across Highway 1 and features several department stores, retailers, and grocers, with more dining and shopping options available throughout the area. Along Mount Vernon Avenue you’ll find charming, locally owned restaurants, cafés, specialty shops, and a farmers market. Several subway stations help commuters get to and from their destinations, with the most popular locale being Washington, DC, located just seven miles north of Potomac West. Other Things to Note: Security camera/recording device — Front - Facing entrance; camera is turned on 24/7 (no audio) and records people coming in/out of the listing No smoking No parties or events Late check out fee is at $50/hour There's a $100 penalty fee for removing smoke detectors No weapons or firearms allowed of any sort. Violators will be reported to police and the contract will be immediately terminated. To abide by all legal requirements and HOA rules, you WILL be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. Failure to provide these documents will result in a cancellation and denied entry. Important note: The information is collected for verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes. Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following: - You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions. - You acknowledge that you will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in. - You acknowledge that you may be required to undergo a background check if mandated by the property management company or the building, as stated in accordance with your rental agreement and condition of the booking. Minimum age requirement of primary person booking should be: 1. 22 years old for out of town guests 2. 25 years old for local guests No weapons or drugs allowed; zero tolerance means police will be called for violating this rule. Noise policy: Guests must agree to not disturb neighbors at all times during the stay. In addition, guests must agree to observe quiet hours from 10pm-7am each day. Long-term stays (30 days+): Long-term guests will be subject to a background search and credit check. Interaction with Guests: I am always available via the message app, email, or through text :)

This property, at first glance was very well presented, it was clean and there were plenty of things that guests need like towels, extra sheets, pillows, kitchenware and paper products. There were a total of 7 guests and everyone had plenty of room and 3 bathrooms was what made us choose this home, as most rentals had only 1 or 2 bathrooms. However the home itself had some issues like a broken banister (safety hazard), holes in the wall, mildew in the basement, broken dining room chair, broken oven window (stove was still operational), inoperative garbage disposal, overhead lighting that flickered constantly (in the bedroom closest to the kitchen and the bathroom in the room with the 2 queen beds - wiring issue?). Also, we had to use the side door leading to the basement and it was not well lit and not well kept (slippery steps) which is a safety issue. The above concerns were immediately brought to the attention of the property owner along with pictures and we were told that they would be immediately addressed. They offered to come during our stay, but I asked them to come after we checked out. Nothing above except for the garbage disposal not working prohibited us from staying and we got around the garbage disposal problem. The owners were very responsive to our concerns and promised to addressed all the issues for future guests. My friends and I would stay here again provided the owners address all the above problems.
