My negative comments below are valid but having said that this apartment is well appointed and perfectly positioned for a stay in Lisbon. With the issues sorted, I had a wonderful stay. Loved the street noise from the busy Rua Augusta below. Easy walking to a lot of tourist activities.
Lack of communication other than email through an agent. They use an online portal for check-in which kept rejecting my passport. I tried calling and emailing several times to property and booking.com without any luck. It just kept replying that I needed to check-in via the link. I did eventually have someone contact me direct but they need a back up Communication as per other apartments. They usually have access to WhatsApp which makes life much easier. I also ab issue with a broken door handle which I managed to sort myself but could have been an issue if relying just on email at 8pm at night. Having said all this, when I did make contact Joao handled everything smoothly. It was just that 2 hours wasted trying to make contact for this check-in debacle was annoying.

Beautifully appointed and perfectly located apartment with everything we needed. Host was very responsive. Right in the heart of all the action and yet once we closed the shutters it was quiet all night.

The location is perfect. The apartment is gorgeous and so spacious & super clean!! The apartment host was also incredibly helpful and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend more and will absolutely be returning!
