Located in a woodsy neighborhood, this home is less than a mile from town and only a few short blocks to beach access, and close to iconic Haystack Rock. This four-bedroom home has a wonderful upper-story great room sure to please your guests. With a vaulted ceiling, updated flooring, a cozy woodstove, and loads of light, the living room makes an inviting space for everyone to gather. The large kitchen island has a breakfast bar sure to draw company for the cook, who will enjoy a fully-equipped kitchen, whether you’re dining in or enjoying take-out from Cannon Beach’s many restaurants. A sliding door makes it easy to use the grill on the front deck to extend your dining options even further. Two bedrooms and two baths on the upper floor, one a king suite with a vaulted ceiling, give your guests private space to retreat or a great spot for a workcation in the second bedroom. Downstairs, two more bedrooms and a bonus room with a sofa, TV, dining table, and outdoor access make this a great home to share with another family. It’s an easy walk to the beach, and you’ll love being near awe-inspiring Haystack Rock. The location of the house was the best part of our stay. Two blocks to the beach and walking distance to downtown Cannon Beach. The house is tucked away on a residential street that is quiet however the house is pretty dark due to tree cover and limited sunshine. When we arrived, we did not find check in instructions so we had no hot water until the next morning. Thankfully the property management company was responsive. The house was very clean but it’s very dated. All of the appliances need updating and the bathrooms are old. The bedrooms are on the larger size but there’s limited furniture (no dressers so we lived out of our suitcase for a week). The fourth bedroom is a pull out couch and there were no linens provided. The staircase to the downstairs bedrooms and laundry is pretty steep so you need to take care. The kitchen had all the necessary pots, pans, etc. I’m all my years renting thru VRBO, I never had check out instructions tell me to wash and fold all the sheets. :-/
