The interior design leans into a coastal Mediterranean style with warm wood and earthy tones, natural terracotta tile, and custom European Oak hardwood floors with balanced ocean colors of aqua blue and patina green throughout the house. Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Folly River, you will enjoy 6 miles wide of beaches, surfing, kayaking, boating, and endless sunset views. Beautiful Morris Island is a great spot to take in the sea life and panoramic views. Take a stroll down Center Street in Downtown Folly, which boasts tons of eclectic bars and restaurants that are fun for the whole family. Getting Around: Folly is very easy to navigate on foot, by bike, or by car! This property is just a 8 minute walk or a 2 minute drive to the public beach access. On the way to the beach make sure to stop by Bert's market to load up on beach snacks, or get an Ocean Potion from Loggerhead's Beach Grill. If you ever have your fill of the beach life, Historic Downtown Charleston is just a 20 minute drive away! Other Things to Note: THIS PROPERTY IS LEGAL & LICENSED BY THE CITY OF FOLLY BEACH, LIC045301 - A signed rental agreement is required from every guest upon booking confirmation. - Beach renourishment is expected to begin in March 2024. During this time, areas of the beach may be temporarily closed and/or impacted. Public beach accesses can be found at nearly every block and/or half block up and down the island. We are not responsible for any beach disruptions caused by the renourishment. Please contact us or the City of Folly Beach if you would like more information. - POOL - Please be aware that any guests (or other individuals who use the pool by invitation of the guests) are expressly using the pool at their own risk and accept all responsibility for such use. Neither YOURPAD Charleston nor the property owner shall be held liable for any accidents or injuries that may occur during the use of the pool or adjacent poolside areas. - POOL HEATING - Please note that the pool is heated September through December unless the temperature drops below 50 degrees at which point it is only heated for guests booking weekend stays not including stays in January or February. Should you be a weekday guest during those drops in temperature, the pool can be heated upon request and for an additional fee. Please inquire and we'd be more than happy to help make the arrangements. The pool heater will not be offered during the months of January & February. - This is not a party house and pets are not allowed. A $500 fine will be applied if a pet is on the property. The property was so nice. Much thought went into making the house work well for everyone. Our two daughters, each with a toddler and infant loved the black out curtains and sound machines. Babies slept so well. The kitchen and dining area were wonderful for feeding a big family. David was easy to reach when we had questions. We hope to return again.

Our stay at the Windward House was nothing short of spectacular. It provided the perfect escape for 7 Moms looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive and provided helpful information about the area and ensured that our stay was as enjoyable as possible. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the experience. If you're looking for a tranquil, luxurious getaway with all the amenities you could wish for, this beach house is an absolute gem and just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We can't wait to return and create more cherished memories in this little piece of paradise.

10 Stars! This was hands down our best VRBO experience. The house was absolutely perfect and made for a vacation we will never forget :) The location made things easy and there was plenty of off street parking. The pool was amazing to have along with the outdoor space. We highly recommend this house!

Our nephew was married in Charleston in September so our family rented this Folly beach house. It was perfect in that everyone had their own space to sleep, own bathrooms to get ready for the wedding festivities and there was always a space to relax and find some quiet time. There was a well stocked kitchen and we loved all the dining seating. The appliances were great to work with and brand new :) The location was wonderful being so close to the beach access and downtown Folly but a quiet area at the same time. The private pool was perfect with plenty of outdoor relaxing space including two large balconies. There was endless off street parking even though we walked just about everywhere. Our property manager, David, was prompt in returning messages and making sure we had the best stay possible. We will be back!

The house is gorgeous, well-equipped, even more beautiful in person than the photos! I had 12 of my closest girlfriends stayed for 5 nights. David was easy to get in touch with and we were even able to check in 2 hours early! The pool is nice and well-kept with a bonus outdoor shower for when you come from the beach. The house is massive and there was so much room for all of my girls, everyone was impressed. We've even discussed coming back for an annual trip! If you have a chance to book Windward House, absolutely do it! We never wanted to leave!
