- The little things: a welcome basket with some food/drinks, toilet basket filled with some essentials that one might forget to bring
- the cat roaming around the houses (we called it Bob)
- nearby a hiking trail
- Location for a number of things you would want to visit a bit far away. Madalena 45 minutes. Mountain house Pico 35 minutes. But we think it is often the case on Pico in general, as there aren’t a lot of places to stay.

Die Lage und die gesamte Anlage sind sehr gut
Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Wer mehr will, muss in ein Hotel.
Es ist ein altes Haus mit allen Vor- und Nachteilen. Es riecht halt muffig und Salpeter ist auch ein Freund alter Häuser.
