We booked the Family Bungalow, and we absolutely loved it! There were four adults in our group, and the room was surprisingly spacious. It has one large bed on the ground floor and two twin beds on the loft level, making it a comfortable setup for families or small groups.
The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was a huge plus. The location is excellent! It's right in the heart of Coron, just a short walk from Jollibee, Andok's, other restaurants, spas, and plenty of souvenir shops. (We ended up buying lots of pearls!)
The pool was clean and enjoyable, and we also liked the buffet breakfast. While I think they could add a bit more variety to the menu, the food was still delicious and satisfying.
And finally, the view from the rooftop overlooking the docking area and the surrounding islands is incredible!
As for the downsides, I genuinely enjoyed my stay, but I do have a couple of suggestions. I wish there had been a mini fridge inside the room, as it would have been very convenient, especially after island tours.
I also noticed that the photos of the Family Bungalow show a small table with two chairs, but our room didn't have them. I ended up asking my uncle to bring some chairs inside so we had somewhere to sit. When I asked the night receptionist, I was told they had removed them because some previous guests had complained. Personally, I found that a bit surprising since the room is spacious enough to accommodate a small table and chairs, and I think having them would make the room even more comfortable.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Tropicasa Hotel. The spacious room, great location, reliable Wi-Fi, and good breakfast made it an excellent choice for our trip to Coron. I would definitely stay here again.
