About this cabin rental
Now with wifi and smart tv!! Situated on the bank of Bennett Lake, just 20 min from Beautiful Perth, this cozy cabin offers 1 queen in the master and 1Q + 2F beds in the loft. Perfect for a family summer getaway or couples retreat. Also includes a fully functional kitchen and bathroom, with clean well water, wifi, bbq, and air conditioning. You can challenge your outdoorsy nature and chill on the dock to catch some fish or cozy up with some marshmallows by the outdoor fire pit.
You are provided a canoe and outdoor seating and games in the summer, sleds for the winter and firewood year round!
Now open winter season (excluding January and February unless special request).
Close to Perth Ontario in the heart of Lanark County. Perth area is known for its heritage buildings, boutique and antique shopping and maple syrup.
The water in front of the dock is ideal for fishing and gazing but swimming is recommended in the middle of the lake.
Boat launch available by appointment.
Fishing boat rental available at extra cost.
We are closed January and February except for special requests.

This was a very private area, felt like it was our own property. No visible neighbors, perfect seating areas covered from rain. Had an awesome campfire and great memories. This place is truly an outdoor cabin vs most others that are stacked row on row.

We enjoyed our stay so much and were very sorry to leave. The owners were so responsive to texts. Very clean comfortable beds, nice towels and other necessities. Highly recommended.

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much at the Balderson Cottage by the Lake. The cottage was clean and very spacious. The home had everything we needed for a rustic getaway. We felt like we were miles away from any inconveniences. We spent our days rotating between the quiet and secluded cottage, with plenty of things to do both inside and out, the lovely lake, the small city of Perth, and the offerings of Ottawa. The owner made us feel instantly welcome, and she was always available for minor problems or questions.
