Good location, middle of the Keys and plenty of stores/food in close proximity!
Private pool and beach access is also available when booking at this property.
Big downfall was kids not being able to fish off the boats rear deck while ending the night!
As a vacation destination you are out and about during the day but like to end the night relaxing and watching some TV - if this is your case too, beware the internet is absolutely terrible. If the location expects the customer to use their Hulu/Amazon and so forth then you should at least have a reliable internet to do so or provide the tv service!

The houseboat was super clean. We had a beautiful view of the water with fish jumping all day. We took out the kayaks and saw a sea turtle. We fished a bit from kayak since you can’t fish from the boat. Didn’t catch anything but was peaceful.

It was in a beautiful spot very convenient. With Publix being right across the street and food around it was super nice and very much walkable! The staff was super friendly and informative on everything we needed to know about the booking and places to go around! They had bikes and canoes free to use and was very close to sombrero beach! We had an absolute blast!! Definitely will be booking here the next time we come down!!

It was a different experience staying on the water. It was nice to see manatees right out in the water on a regular basis. That was very nice.
The boats/lodge has a metal ramp to get in/out of. It was windy when we stayed. The metal ramps made a very loud noise in the wind and kept us up for two straight nights. When we brought this up we were told nothing could be done. It turned out that it could be addressed and on the third night we actually did get some sleep. We could not watch tv. No one could help us. You had to put passwords in like it was fort nox. Even after trying multiple times we could not get access. You should just be able to turn tv on and watch stuff like any hotel in the world allows.
