We were travelling together as a small group and needed something a little different from a standard double room, so having several room options made things easier. The staff took the time to explain what was available and helped us choose the right setup. The hotel is also in a central area, which made getting around much simpler. I can see it working well for different types of travellers and not just couples.

After dinner, we could walk around the Old Quarter, visit the night market and explore the nearby streets without having to arrange transportation. There were always plenty of people around, so the area felt lively and interesting. Once back at the hotel, the atmosphere was much calmer and cozy. That contrast worked really well for us. It gave us the full Hanoi experience while still providing a comfortable place to relax afterwards.

We stayed for several mornings and were pleased with the breakfast variety. Having both Western and Asian choices was useful because our group had different tastes. We also noticed that the selection wasn't completely identical every day, which was appreciated during a longer stay. The breakfast room is not particularly large, so busy mornings can require a little patience. However, the staff handled it well and were always polite.

The hotel has a good location, comfortable rooms, attractive Indochine-inspired interiors and, most importantly, a very friendly team. We particularly appreciated how helpful the staff were whenever we needed something. The breakfast was varied and included both Asian and Western food. There are a few small areas where the property could be improved, but nothing that significantly affected our stay. Considering the three-star category and the price, we thought the quality and service were very good.
