My family and I have just returned from a wonderful road-trip around Ireland for about 16 days. We stayed in 8 different properties and whilst they were all very good, Sweetlamb was for me the best! A beautiful cottage - very old but all renovated so there was no musty, damp smell to it, which we experienced elsewhere in an old cottage. The facilities were perfect for us and it was really comfortable; lovely added touches which made it super homely. Location was amazing with wonderful views. The owner, next door, did a meet and greet which for me was perfect. This was the only time this happened on our trip as in all other places we collected the keys in a key box - it made it much more personal for me and the owner was so lovely. I would highly recommend Sweetlamb and only wished we had longer. We would love to return!

Veel ruimte, goed uitgeruste keuken.
Twee slaapkamers, beide met een tweepersoonsbed en één ook een éénpersoonsbed. Afzonderlijke eet- en zitkamer. Zeer rustig gelegen, maar voldoende faciliteiten in de directe omgeving.
Geen koffiezetapparaat aanwezig, alleen oploskoffie. Lange mensen moeten oppassen voor hun hoofd. Eén toilet, op de bovenverdieping.

It’s a stunning property in a quiet location but still handy for local attractions such as the JFK arboretum and the must-visit Dunbrody famine experience ship. Just wished we’d stayed longer than two nights.

Beautiful old renovated farmhouse that had everything we could possibly need. Lovely being in the countryside and just the best hosts you could ask for. Thanks to Anja and family for looking after us so well
