There was nothing to dislike. The couple, Shaun and Sharn (forgive spelling), clearly work hard to keep this place running well.
If you have a large group, this place is ideal and is well capable of providing things that most places can't.
As a solo, for me, it is quite remote. But that did this quirky place is superbly located for walkers, cyclists, etc. A pool table, and shelves of countless toys and stuff to keep you occupied should you wish, or keep the kids busy while you sit out with a wine?.
On my next visit, I will not be alone and will be able to enjoy the surroundings more. I can imagine this could truly be a fun place for groups that like the open air and to come back to a hot tub.

Fantastic breakfast, you won’t leave hungry!
Ideal location near to Hadrians Wall and Steal Rigg car park, you can even see the highest point from the farm!
What really struck me was how quiet it was.
I had a lovely room, home from home and the host and hostess, Shaun and Shaurna (forgive spelling) were just wonderful, caring, chatty and attentive.
I wish I could have stayed longer and found them sooner.

Superb location in the shadow of Hadrians Wall.

Very good breakfast and very nice hosts. Close to Hadrian's Wall.
Peeling and mildew on windows and shower, dirty floors and hall rugs. Insufficient light for reading or places to put suitcases. Hostel feel. Very dangerous road hilltop to get to it. Thought it was a working farm and it wasn't and was kind of junky outside.
