We travelled as a group of 4 adults planning to visit some of the historic houses in the area, and we all agreed this accommodation was excellent. The apartment is on the ground floor of a large house, and is situated on a very quiet side street, about half a mile from the centre of Melrose where there are several good restaurants, pubs, shops and a supermarket. The apartment itself is extremely spacious, very comfortable, beautifully furnished and well equipped with everything you need. When we arrived we discovered we had been given a bottle of prosecco, choc ices and some shortbread. There was also a selection of tea bags and coffee pods for us to use. Although we didn't meet the owners they texted us with all the information we needed before arrival, and they clearly take great pride in looking after their guests. Overall a great place to stay.
The wiring for the bedside lamps could be better, otherwise everything was perfect.

Not a big deal but no sockets in the front bedroom for phone charger, hairdryer, lamp etc. I did find an extension cable in the cupboard though so was able to get power from next room
