Kitchen was pretty well-equipped, but could have used more spoons and plates. Big windows facing the ocean were a plus. Good location close to Casper lighthouse, Russian Gulch and Mendocino. Deer in yard the morning we left. Comfortable bed and nice shower. Lost of electrical outlets.
Bathtub was hard to get in and out of, and a bit slippery when using the shower. The hot tub didn't function, but they gave us a rebate. Should have been informed ahead of arrival, as this was one of the features. Heater didn't work in the morning. Pilot light should have been lighted in advance. They did bring by a space heater and lit the pilot, but too late for us to use the first morning. Couch was not made for sitting, too hard. But 2 lounging chairs were comfortable. Hosts were very responsive to our concerns.

Location was good, good starting point to all the places we wanted to visit. The cottage was cute. We liked the kitchen, bed was comfortable and the hot tub worked well.
Having more screened windows would have been better. The temperature gauge could not be changed. Poor lighting in the living room. The couch was unsittable, hard as a rock. Difficult to get in and out of the bathtub. Amenities were scarce.
