Convenience of location
Noisy bed. Confusion on arrival when we were told we had two rooms. We had asked for twin or double bed so got given two separate rooms one of which was a noisy double bed.

Great location within easy reach of central Cambridge.
Fantastic breakfast- much more than anticipated and beautifully cooked.
Porters were amazingly helpful and friendly.
I liked everything but An easy chair would have been a bonus.

Breakfast was excellent. The location was excellent, since I was reading in the University Library. I was grateful to the porter who found me a room which did avoided a lot of stairs. I like the garden, though it would have been better if it hadn't been so dry!
The shower didn't work.

Parking was good although pricey since we had already paid to stay. Staff were polite & helpful. Location was good.
Facilities were quite basic - bed was in a poor condition & no shampoo, conditioner or shower gel provided other than soap. No bedside lamps & although a double room no bedside table on one side. No windows that could be opened at night so stifling hot in the room.
