Comfortable bedroom with everything you need for a reasonable price. We didn't visit Edinburgh city, so no idea about the connection. We chose this place as it's close to the airport, but discovered it's still an hour by bus. So we took an Uber which is a 15 min drive, but keep in mind that they charge an extra airport fee so from the house to the airport costs around 25 pounds.
The bed sheets and bathroom were clean, but the kitchen could have been cleaner. There were food stains from previous guests in the fridge and the sink wasn't very clean. We also noticed a lot of dust on the furniture and hairs in the drawers. The shower and bathroom sinks were also clogged.

Good space, clean and the host was also very nice and helpful. all the necessary amenities like an Iron and storage space were there. the bus stops were close and easy access to airport as well
the location was a bit far from the city center so it would take half an hour to reach the city center. however it was a single bus connection so not too difficult to get around.

We really enjoyed our stay at the green retreat. The room was clean, comfortable and bathroom was clean and well equipped with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. It had a little kitchenette with a toaster and kettle with coffee and tea provided and creamer and sugar which was really nice to have quickly in the morning before exploring the city. The bus stop was very close (less than 2 minute walk) by so was easy to catch the bus into the city-usually took about half an hour to 40 minutes. I appreciated how friendly the host was and that he allowed us to drop our bags off as we arrived in the morning early and wanted to go explore the city. He then placed our bags neatly in the room. I also really appreciated how he did some laundry for us on our last day and had everything folded and dried. Overall I think the value was amazing. The bus to the airport required a 12 minute walk but was easy enough to find and was a quick 30 minute bus to the airport. There was also a nice TV that we could watch streaming services on which we enjoyed! Would definitely recommend and come back to stay in the future!
