Welcome to Erstwhere, where chosen families and special guests gather to create unforgettable memories. Our historic Victorian home, The Lyoness, offers 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, nestled in San Francisco's iconic Haight-Ashbury district. We look forward to hosting you! It's a self-check-in. The host lives on-site. If any urgent matters come up during your stay, please don't hesitate to contact us directly. Erstwhere at The Lyoness is a half block off Haight Street, a neighborhood known as the "Upper Haight" A half dozen lavish parks and even more quaint neighborhoods are within walking distance of the house. If you do wish to travel further, we're around the corner from several major bus lines leading into town, or toward the beach. (https://www.spotangels .com) ||| Erstwhere - The Lyoness ||| ++ + + 2F - Same as Entry (3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms)+ + ++ ***THE SOLARIUM (Bedroom 1)*** - Just inside the entrance to the guest wing is a midsized room with soft sunlight on moss colored walls. - Private bedroom with code locking door, a queen bed, an antique wardrobe, a couch, coffee table, and a reading chair under the bay windows. ***THE ORCHARD (Bedroom 2)*** - In the middle of our 2nd floor guest wing, the modestly sized Orchard Room harkens of cherry blossom season. - Private bedroom with code locking door, a queen bed, a pair of nightstands, a small writing space and chair, built-in closets & shelves, and a small refrigerator. ***THE BIRDSONG ROOM (Bedroom 3)*** - At the end of our 2nd floor guest wing is a mid-sized Victorian bedroom in the blue tones of a crisp day. - Private bedroom with code locking door, a queen bed with two nightstands, a pair of reading chairs and console under the bay windows, an ornate secretary writing desk and chair, built-in closet and shelves, and a small refrigerator. ***2 BATHROOMS*** - Across Orchard - a full bathroom directly across the hall from your bedroom, with code locking door. - A shower between 2 bathrooms - Across Birdsong - a large full bathroom directly across the hall from your bedroom, with code locking door, and a lavish marble shower and double vanity. ++ + + 3F - Same as Kitchen & Dining (3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms) + + ++ ***THE STATEROOM (Bedroom 4)*** - At the front of the house on the top floor is our largest guest suite, in a European style. Sitting at the end of a hall and around the corner from an included private fainting room. - Private bedroom and attached fainting room with code locking door, a queen bed, a pair of reading chairs and a lounge chair with a hassock under a wall of windows, a secretary cabinet and writing chair, a bedside bench and console table, a standalone wardrobe, a built-in bar, drawers, cabinets, shelves, and a coat closet. ***THE SUN PARLOUR (Bedroom 5)*** - At the very top of the stairs is a midsized yellow room with ample light. - Private bedroom with code locking door, a queen bed, a pair of nightstands, a small writing space and chair, and a generously sized antique wardrobe. ***THE SAGE ROOM (Bedroom 6)*** - In the middle of the top floor is our modestly sized Sage Room. - Private bedroom with code locking door, a full bed, and built-in closets & shelves. ***2 BATHROOMS*** - A full bathroom down the hall next to the Palace Bath, with a code-locking door. - Palace Bath - a full bathroom at the end of the hall near the kitchen, featuring a large and luxurious bathtub. •••••• COMMON SPACES •••••• ***The Tea Room*** Directly adjacent to the entrance, a place for hosting games, and pouring tea. ***The Salon*** At the end of the second floor hall is a spacious and cozy Victorian sitting area. ***The Kitchen & Dining Room*** At the end of the third floor hall is the kitchen that has everything you'll need to make a great meal - cookware, spices, oils, vinegars, flours, and sugars of all kinds are on hand for your use. ***The Sun Porch*** Through the double french doors of the top floor kitchen is a modest deck overlooking a large open area of gardens and rooftops nearby, trees from nearby parks just beyond, and a great view of the sunset to the west. It contains an outdoor seating area for shared meals, and a lounge chair for resting and reading. ***Guests have access to the entire house, except for the host’s room and storage areas.
