We had the whole house to ourselves, the house itself is spacious, three bedrooms, large kitchen and sitting room, large fridge, and overall it was clean to look at. It has the potential to become a great property if the host just took care of the house/garden and thought of few essentials. The sofas were nice and comfortable. Thoughtfully kept sanitary pads and lotions.The man was still washing the windows and there was some miscommunication about the locked keyholders but Chloe called me to sort that out quickly, which I appreciated.
The kitchen lacked essentials, no sugar in the pot labelled as sugar, no salt or pepper or cooking oil, not enoigh pots and pans, not enough plates and they were placed all the way to the opposite side in the kitchen island. Loved the kitchen island but was not very convenient and very hard to contain a 1 year old we had with with who loved opening the doors/cupboards. Detailed instruction about "how to use the dishwater" that looked beyond repairable, it wasted out good 1 hour before we realised that it does not work. Only one toilet with shower in it, the water kept going out as the shower door did not close completely. The twin beds was useless to us in a big bedroom upstairs, if it was upto me, I would change it to a double bed and maybe make downstairs room into a bedroom. The garden was simply ignored, which was actually why I picked the place, so it was utterly disappointing. Worn socks in the diniing room drawers, just disgusting. Drying socks upstairs and open shampoo bottles, looked like someone may be living there when there are no renters.

Well located, clean and accommodating. Highly improved on negative previous reviews. Definitely worth the stay and very worth the price. Slept 4, all happy.
No early check in or checkout available. Not a necessity but only issue we could find. Not really an issue.

the dish washer didn't work
from day one.we switched it on on tuesday morning and only managed to get it to turn off on thursday morning.
i called the owner on the number supplied by booking.com 4 times but got no answer.i also emailed the property 3 times but got no response.this is totally unacceptable.what is the point of having contact details if you don't answer.also the dishwasher smelled as if it hadn't been cleaned regulary

Large kitchen / seating area . The inside was very clean .
Lack of communication regarding the key code for the property . Difficulty speaking with the owner , messages left via voicemail . The single beds need better mattresses , very uncomfortable to sleep on 🙁. Would benefit from a downstairs loo / shower too .
