The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed is very comfortable, and the location is very central. It’s about a 17-minute walk to the metro and train station, which makes it easy to get around.
The windows do a pretty good job of reducing the street noise, although you can still hear some music and general noise outside. However, if you choose to stay in Bairro Alto, this is something you should expect and be prepared for.
Getting into the apartment was very easy. I received a digital access link that was valid for the duration of my stay, so there was no need to carry keys around, which was very convenient.
The stairs are quite steep and narrow, but that’s part of the charm of this type of historic building.
Overall, I had a very good stay and would happily recommend the apartment.

It was clean and comfortable
I didn’t like the location due to the noise and the people around the area. Due to the bars the people were always loud and drunk

Clean, has everything you need. Close to downtown and sights. Good bed and good AC.
When I booked, there wasn't any comments yet about the noice from the bars. After staying, I would prefer a apartment little bit further from the bar street. ALSO the noice from the upstairs's room is LOUD (it seemed like elephants were staying up there and walking all day). I sleep quite well even when there is noises, but if you are light sleeper, I would recommend hotel/apartment a couple streets further.
