Great location!
The pillows were very poor and the matrasses also not good. A night sleep is the most important so I would invest in that. Other then that it was clean!

Nothing to complain about really, there were 5 of us staying there (one on a sofa bed) but was comfortable enough and not pokey despite our numbers.

Well Located, comfortable apartment in Bairro Alto
Well located and close to a number of bars and restaurants. A nice stroll down towards the harbour. Wasn't overly noisy considering the district it was in. Beds were comfy and towels/shower gel provided. Little shop facing the door for bits. Was a very reasonable price for a 4 night stay. Host was easily contactable and very friendly via WhatsApp.
Stairs to room are VERY steep - would be a challenge with anything other than a small bag. Room is right at the top too. Shower head is a bit small and water pressure very powerful so hard not to spray the entire bathroom.

location was good in the centre, everything was walkable, wifi pretty good
cant have more then one appliance on at a time or power tripped, contacted management on 2 lines but didnt seem to concerned to help, mould in some parts of apartment, noise till at least 2-3am most nights, stairs are a deathtrap, apartment on 3rd lvl

Perfect location
Lovely spacious flat, perfect location near lovely restaurants and bars
3rd bedroom is an enclosed area within the living room area , it’s private but no windows or furniture other than a bed, not really a problem but wasn’t aware of this in advance But if a mix up with the city tax, ended up paying for it when we got there when we thought we’d already paid for it so slightly confusing

The location was great for our needs and we enjoyed the authenticity of the apartment. And we LOVED the pastry lady two Doors down that we visited every morning.
We were not prepared for the staircase! We were traveling with my older parents and we were traveling in Spain and Portugal for 10 days and we had large suitcases that we could barely get up the stairs. No elevator! This should be noted in the property description as this was a huge problem for my parents. Walking about in Lisbon with its hills was tiring enough and then to have to climb the most narrow and steep three flights of stairs was treacherous. My 55 year old husband and I had to carry all of the luggage up and then down when we left. A real difficulty. Also, we had much trouble with the electronic keypad as the one outside the apartment didn’t work and we could not get back into the apartment. The owner was attentive and had someone come out to repair the door however he requested that we stay there to let the repair man in which caused us to miss our dinner reservation that we had made months before our trip.
