Riad Babette exceeded our expectations is every way! We felt like the location was perfect, since it is located inside the medina, but on a quieter street. Everyone who works there is so kind, helpful, and friendly. The first day, Mohamed had one of the workers (can't remember his name) walk us to an excellent restaurant so we wouldn't get lost! The breakfasts are homemade every morning by Sofia and served on the rooftop terrace. Each one was varied and delicious. On our last day, we had to leave at 5:30am before breakfast service started, and Sofia packed us a lovely breakfast to take along on our journey! The rooms are bright and clean, and the bed was super comfortable with easily accessible outlets for all of our needs. I chose this riad because my name is Babette and I thought it would be fun to stay there, but I never expected it to be this amazing!! They even sent me home with a Riad Babette hand towel as a gift. This is truly a very special place at a very reasonable price; I promise you will love it! We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Mohamed, Sofia, and Imad and one other person whose name I can't remember THANK YOU for EVERYTHING! You made our stay extra special!!!

Wow! What a beautiful place, and how expertly they staff welcomes you! We would definitely stay there again!
The room we booked was not accurately described. The was supposed to be two beds and a sofa bed, but there was only one bed and a sofa bed. I would have booked two rooms instead of sleeping on a sofa bed.

"Riad Baber is perfectly located within the Essaouira medina, right next to the port. You can explore the entire city on foot. The host was very kind and helpful. The breakfast provided was excellent, rich, and of very high quality. They also offer dinner, which unfortunately we didn't have time to try, but it must be exceptional based on how it looked when served to another family. The room we stayed in was spacious, though nothing special in terms of decoration."
"The issues I noted were that the stairs leading to the upper floors and the terrace are very narrow and difficult for older guests or people with mobility issues. Additionally, there is a cooking smell from the kitchen that enters the room during the morning and evening hours."
