Highly recommend !

Amazing location. Incredible rooftop view. Very friendly staff especially the cleaners and the lovely woman at reception. We were kindly upgraded to a room with a view of the sea. Very spacious with a lovely bathroom. The wifi was difficult to connect to - like everywhere in Morocco but this shouldn’t be a priority for anyone as there is much more to look at in this country than your phone! There is so much potential for the rooftop terrace, a little TLC would make such a difference as it has stunning views. Great location so close to the sea and souks.

Perfect place, great staff

Stayed here for new years eve, had a magical night with an 11 course meal cooked by the chef served on the terrace, staff couldn't do enough for us they were brilliant. Huge comfortable bed! Amazing location by the sea.

10/10 room, terrace, staff, location and everything else!

We asked for 2 separate beds and sea view room, to which receptionist were able to accommodate us and really we were blown away by it all. Even the size of the bath tub, must have been about 6ft. To put it into perspective, we were only meant to stay 2 nights then move on to another city. But we loved Essaouria and this hotel so much we cancelled the rest of our plans and stayed 4 nights in total! The roof terrace was exceptional, just a bit higher up than all the rest with fantastic views over the sea at your right on the edge of the land. Couldn’t believe our luck with the terrace next door being a restaurant with live music most nights, so got to hear beautiful music every evening on the terrace. Staff were all genuinely lovely, rooms always clean and we had everything we needed. 10/10 and definitely plan to come again, especially to this hotel!

In spite of the water, I loved the room and location!

I loved the view and ambience of the room. I felt like I was in a movie and should be there writing a novel or creating a painting masterpiece. There was a wind, rain and lightening storm to watch from my room and it felt cosy and spectacular! The staff were helpful. It felt like authentic Morocco. Loved it!

It rained and the water came in under the door, covering the floor. I needed to use my towels to stop it.

Relaxing and enjoyable

The hotel is beautiful and has a lovely ambience. The room and bathroom were lovely. The views of the sea and sunset from the roof terrace were wonderful. The staff were friendly and very helpful at all times. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of choice. We loved the location too, it was quiet but very close to the sea and the bustling streets of the medina. We enjoyed a relaxing massage booked through the hotel too.

It was all lovely.

Nice place to stay.

3rd time we have stayed here and it was as nice as ever,lovely old building,staff friendly as always,quiet location with great views from the roof top terrace,big comfy bed

There could have been more choice for breakfast,that said there was enough to see us through until lunch .

Basic but good

Our room was on the top floor with a a window overlooking the ocean!

Room was very basic and dated but nonetheless got the job done which was a comfortable night in a good location.

Superb

Fabulous spot and centrally located to everything. The staff were amazing; super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our room was wonderful and they have a lovely terrace where you can enjoy a plentiful breakfast with an amazing view.

Great location and good value

Great central location, we appreciated the room upgrade and the great views of the sea. Nice roof terrace where you can sit and relax with a coffee. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. This is our 3rd stay here and definitely we will be back

Very good

This was worth the price paid. The size of my room was great and the breakfast was pretty good.

Only down side was that the wifi was very weak in my room.

Good location, could be cleaner

This property was beautiful and in an excellent location. The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was decent.

I felt the place needed a deep clean - it seemed like everything was really old. We had a couch that had a bit of an odd smell. I think this place could be a 5 star hotel if they gave it a better clean. When we went into our room there was hair on the bathroom floor. Really could step up their service with better cleaning!

Brilliant view from the rooftop terrace. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Calm place on the shore of ocean.

There could be better variety of choices during breakfast, e.g. beans, more vegetables.
