The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was smelt delicious, was very comfortable, a home away from home, the terrace was beautiful sunny escape. I loved all the art in the corridors. Breakfast on the roof terrace set you up

Aussergewöhnliches Personal, Rachid, Fatiha & Hayat waren sehr freundlich und sorgten für eine freundschaftliche Atmosphäre. Rachid zeigte uns einen ganzen Tag das Landesinnere. Das Zimmer war gross und sehr schön eingerichtet. Jeden Tag wurde das Wasser nachgefüllt im Zimmer.
Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war vielfältig.
Würden defintiv wiederkommen.
Das Badezimmer ist offen, direkter Blick in die Dusche. War jedoch für uns kein Problem.

My sister and I traveled to Morocco with our two teenage daughters. Our experience at Ryad Watier was exceptional. We traveled all over Morocco and had great Riad experiences, but this one stands out as our favorite. The physical beauty and spaciousness of the Ryad was one reason-it is gorgeous with art and plants and a large roof deck and several common spaces to relax. Our room was so well decorated, had a fireplace and an upstairs loft-perfect for the four of us! But the people!!! The people that run this Ryad are incredible. They made our stay extra special-we researched a lot beforehand and they re-directed us to the best dinner experiences that we would never have found. They cared about making our stay not just good, but great. And they work hard. We will never forget this stay and we recommend Ryad Watier in the strongest way.

Everything was absolutely amazing. A beautiful riad, very tastefully decorated, with art both from local artists (and the owner who is very talented!) and brought from all over the world. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. One of our best stays ever. Our son loved the little turtle.

Hyatt the proprietress has created a beautilful Ryad its a very special place. She and her staff look after all the guests so well, it was a delight to stay with her and nothing appear to much trouble. The attention to detail in the bedroom was supurb, the breakfast on the roof delicious. We also really enjoyed the private Hamman and massage.

This very old house has been beautifully restored by its owners while keeping an ambience of its historic past
The welcome and care we received from the ever present manageress Hyatt and her staff could not have been better.
The roof top breakfasts were delicious and the adjoining sun lounge was the perfect spot to relax
An amazing location set in a quiet alley with a minute’s walk to the Main Street of the Medina
It was difficult to leave and if we do get the opportunity to return to Essaouira we definitely will stay in Ryan Watier

The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. the location is perfect. The single rooms are huge and super clean. The towels and sheets and bed is magic. There are a number of outdoor spaces and terraces with views. They provide a huge and amazing breakfast.
There is absolutely nothing to dislike. I can’t rate this place highly enough.

The staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble. The room and facilities were fabulous and we were so pleased to have a fire lit in the room with the colder evenings. The breakfast was all delicious and fresh, served on the roof terrace, overlooking the town and the sea, it couldn’t be better. If we went back to Essaouria we would definitely be staying again at Riad Watier.

A warm welcome with a glass of wine. Recommendations for dinner - tables booked. Kind and generous staff. Hyatt and Fatima were so professional and gracious.
Breakfast = Freshly made pancakes, lots of lovely jams, yoghurt and fruit, plenty of coffee. All served on the top terrace and available up to 11am too.
We ate in one evening by the fire in the dining room - sharing the most amazing fresh fish caught that day. A truly lovely meal, good wine and fabulous ambiance.

Great value for money and design! I don't think that there is another property in Essaouira that matches the quality (comfort, decor, convenience of location, breakfast and staff) and price of this place. Absolutely recommend! Including the hammam!!! :)

This is the place to stay in Essaouira! Our taxi from the airport was organised for us including someone with a cart to carry your bags through the winding narrow streets to your hotel. The staff are what make this place exceptional. They will look out for you and make sure you are cared for. Their recommendations were perfect, we are at two fantastic restaurants and we followed their suggested 'things to see and do' on the map, and we had the best time. From the chaos of the fish market in the morning to the beautiful views off the high walls overlooking the sea. It was the perfect introduction to Morocco.
Also if you are slightly nervous about visiting Morocco after reading some of the things online, don't be. The staff at the hotel really put us at ease and made us feel welcome, they will make sure you know good prices so you don't get ripped off.
If we come back to Morocco we will be staying here again.
From now on we are going to have to get hotels with fireplaces in the bed rooms.

you feel warmly welcomed with the first step into the Riad. feels like home / as if you were a close friend visiting - with hotel service ; )
best tips and organisation of all our needs. delicious food! very nice art details all over the Riad, which makes it one of a kind.
room was a bit cold at night (winter time) - but that got immediately taken care of by heating the cozy fire place and two extra electrical heaters brought to the room, so actually nothing to complain about.

Lovely riad with amazing atmosphere, friendly and accommodating host and staff. Eclectic art and decorations. Our room included a fireplace which they set each night. Lovely rooftop for relaxation and soaking up some sun as you listen to the waves and seagulls.

We never met such a hospitality. We arrived a bit late and hosts provided some fruit snacks and drinks absolutely for free. They set a fire in a fireplace and we felt like home. At night was very quiet, neither muezzin songs no traffic noise.
The traditional Moroccan breakfast serves in a rooftop with a sea view. Very romantic.

The riad had lovely big rooms, the staff were so helpful and always ready to guide to new experiences, and good restaurants! breakfast on the roof was lovely, Gabriel, Christine, Hayat and Fatiha all spoke excellent English, we watched World Cup football with everyone in the library! and my 92 year old father was always well looked after by them. And everyone staying there returns!!
the courtyard could feel a little dark and cool at times but this would be great at a hotter time of year!!
