The property is obviously older, but has undergone some renovations. The bathrooms are very small (sink is outside the bathroom) and took a bit to get the shower water temp to balance out. Once we figured it out, we were good.
There is no elevator, so you would need to ask for parking lot level room if needed.
The pool and pool area are very nice. Pool water was the perfect temperature. Plenty of sun loungers and tables with chairs. Direct gated access to the beach. You can rent a beach umbrella and 2 lounge chairs for the entire day at a very reasonable rate. (They are set up for you)
Overall, we had a great stay. We walked to several of the small restaurants that had excellent food.
Very close to Pier Park and other shopping and entertainments.

The hotel is older but is very nice and conveniently located. The walk to the beach is super short which is AMAZING. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. We would stay here again. We stayed 4 nights and 5 days with children. I would recommend this to anyone.
