Great little hotel near the main train station. The staff are amazing, can't help enough both on the front desk and in the breakfast room. This is not a luxury property, but perfectly functional with decent sized room and bathroom, comfortable beds, fridge, air conditioning unit and access to tea and coffee facilities in the hallway throughout the day. The breakfast has a little of everything, again not luxury but a good way to start the day with meat, cheese, cereal, pastries, yogurts, fruit juices and tea/ coffee. Location is ideal as all underground and bus services go to the train terminal so easy to get around, and 15 minute walk to Trevi fountain and Colosseum. A nice friendly hotel base for your visit to Rome.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Orlanda. It was very close to the Roma Termini which gave us easy access to trains and the metro. There were also good restaurants all around. Taxis had an easy time finding it. The elevator up to their floor was tiny and slow, but it didn't bother us. They gave us a large room because we had a lot of luggage. The only problem we experienced was that my relative (who was older and scared of falling) slipped around in the shower, which scared her. So, the second day, she refused to take a shower. The shower was fine for me. It was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

A great location and a five minute walk from the Roma Termini (trains). The hotel is well maintained and modern within and older property. The rooms are small as many older hotels. For those who wish to explore Rome on foot, take advantage of the paper map provided by the staff. It is much easier to understand directions an eliminates slow data signals for map applications to your smartphone.
