Nice easy stop over on the drive to Scotland. Close to City sites like the citadel. Easy to get meals right at the pubs outside the Hotel, Car parking immediately behind the hotel was all easy for a tired traveller.
Room was basic, bed comfortable, quiet, shower was hot.

Basic single bed room, medium sized, Hot water kettle, TV worked okay. The window has a safety cable and only opens a small amount. But, the room has a ceiling fan that blows air into the room. Check in and out was easy and fast. I didn't pay extra for the breakfast. It's a five minute walk from the train station.

It was what you would expect from an Ibis hotel - satisfactory accommodation for a reasonable price. If you are driving there I suggest you investigate where the car park is located (behind the hotel off Cecil Street - and not straightforward to find). I didn't, tried to call the hotel twice for directions and the call wasn't answered.
