Ideal hotel for our 4 night stay in Rome. Rooms tended to every day. Helpful staff. Basement spa was a bonus, our kids loved the pool - though there is quite a bad sewage smell down there! Breakfast was average. Stale pancakes, melon/watermelon only available on one morning during our entire stay, fruit salad seemed passed its best and it seemed like once things were gone, they weren't replenished. Little things to note. But the hotel served it's purpose and we were happy. One of the best Gelateria's in Rome is just up the road and we enjoyed it every day.

The hotel proved to be an excellent value - the direct neighbourhood contains a plethora of restaurants, public water fountains, as well as small grocery stores (very useful for cold drinks in the hot weather!). The room itself was nice enough, and the air conditioning was definitely above average (based on my other stays in Europe in the past, but also based on the "struggling" air conditioning that some local establishments have).
If you are arriving in Rome itself by train, the hotel is also just a 10-minute walk from the train station (faster than a taxi, in most cases). It is also directly between two metro stations for easy access.
Overall, I would absolutely stay at this hotel again without hesitation.
