The TV didn't work. There was a long sheet about how to get it working but who has that time? How about using the remote as usual? Every hotel should have blackout drapes but they did not. People moved into next room with a non-stop yipping dog. The stay overall was great but for price these issues need attention.

Everything about our stay was incredible - cannot say enough great things about this accommodation and the hosts!
We were greeted by friendly staff, met with great amenities for the price, and felt safe and taken care of during our stay. The view is spectacular, and the room was perfect for our one-night stay. Clean property, thoughtful additions (like wine glasses with a bottle opener, magazines, soaps, etc) and a light continental breakfast. I'd highly recommend this location for business trips, families, couples, singles, any kind of stay.
Since we only stayed the one night, we didn't take advantage of some of the extra amenities like the fire pit, outdoor seating, small pond with paddle boat, or swimming pool - but it was clear that several others did and enjoyed themselves. Will come back here next time with our family and friends!

The property is very beautiful and tucked away but at the same time close to downtown Galena.

Beautiful inn, property, landscaping, pond, and pool. Enjoyed a paddle boat ride on the pond while watching the sunset.
