Good sized room (in annexe). Comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly staff. Drinks quite expensive (or possibly overcharged…?) Lovely location overlooking green and 2min walk to main town for lots of pubs & cafes. Easy car parking.

We had a wonderful stay at the Fleece. The hotel has a lovely location on the green and near the church. Checking in was great, and also the staff that served us during both dinner and at breakfast were so lovely and looked after us really well. The guy at breakfast was working his socks off to serve everyone but managed it with humour too! The food at dinner was delicious, and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had. It was obviously a popular place for food too as it was busy the whole time. My only criticism is that the area on the way to our room was very tired, and initially I was concerned about our booking, so a bit of a refresh is needed.
