Great stay for bare minimum requirements of solo traveling. Private bathroom, twin size bed, small TV, and breakfast buffet. The restaurant does include dinner but not included with the lodging fees. The location is very walkable to the nearest bus or train station. All in all, it was great for what I was looking for!

We loved this hotel, though a lot of that was for the incredible mountain view from our room and the large balcony. The breakfast was great, with super-cheerful staff. We didn't happen to eat dinner at the hotel restaurant, but only because we were out to other places. Wilderswil was a great (and more cost-effective) launching point for the whole Interlaken area. The only real complaint about the hotel was the lack of air-conditioning. Being there in the heat-wave this year, it would have been nice to cool down after a hot day of sightseeing. They do provide a fan, however, and the windows do open wide. On-site parking was a bonus as well.
