Muir Lodge Motel

Very beautifully updated and bed was so comfortable. Slept well!!!!

Recently renovated. Microwave, fridge, and coffee machine in room. Supplies in bathroom. Owners very helpful.

The facility was very clean and well maintained. I arrived on Thursday afternoon and on Friday morning had two cups of coffee and used the two pouches of dry creamer. I learned the if you didn't put the clean room sign out the only service was clean towels. I stayed from Thursday till Monday and not once did get the coffee replaced. I had to walk across the street to Jack in the box to get coffee. The staff should know older have to have their coffee in the morning and don't want to get dressed to go out for coffee. They didn't empty the trash can the entire time was there also. Like I said I didn't put the clean room sign so the bed had not been made all the time was there. That's enough. Would I go back and stay there sure however I have learned the tricks of the trade so to say.

It was a great place to stay while visiting family. There was a coffee shop nearby that had great coffee and pastries. We ordered food delivery one night without any issues. One outstanding thing for me was that they had TWO! chairs to sit in, in the room. I'm almost always sitting on the bed while my partner sits in a chair. An extra bonus was that those two chairs reclined!
