Superb

Very clean and updated beds were comfortable

There was a smell coming form the bathroom, probably some sewage issue coming from the drain. Bathroom was clean and nice though.

Don't eat the pastries but its good they do this.

More selections of Pastries in the office.

Exceptional

I really like this place. It feels safe, comfortable, and clean. I also like the location. I prefer the rooms with the bathtub. I like nice aesthetics -- this place is tastefully decorated and has a peaceful and calm vibe. Close to good places to hike and my commute into Albany was easy from this place. This hotel is my first preference when I need a place to stay in the area.

I left my outlet for my curling iron (it turns the curling iron off automatically). When I called they could not locate it. I also have accidentally left my electric tea kettle another visit and they held onto it. I was just bummed to lose my outlet--I've had for years and it never stops working. I've stayed a few times and the sinks tend to drain slowly as did one of the showers.

Great location, polite staff, clean and comfortable.

A group a couple doors down were having a BBQ right out front of their room. They politely invited us, but we were heading in for the evening. Not a true "negative", but did feel kind of cornered to accept that there would be a loud-ish bbq going for a while.

Superb

The rolls were delicious.

Alhambra street is busy and noisy. But I have to say, while there was automobile noise from the street, it wasn’t bothersome. The double roll-down blinds really helped with excessive light and noise too. The A/C worked well, helping to create a cool environment for resting.

it was very clean and in a great location from my job

the water pressure was not good in the shower and the room was cold the heat did get warm enough

Had high hopes but was disappointed.

Price was good. Staff was nice. Room was nice.

We arrived late and room not ready. One large towel for 3 people. Had to go get more towels off of the cleaning cart. People smoking outside filled our room with smoke. Twice. Room not made up and dirty towels not cleared during our stay.
